Part 1- Protest Art To Create Change

Explore protest art and create your own …on a topic that matters to you! This workshop is a fast paced youth-led exploration of protest art from activists in North America over the last fifty years. Participants will develop a message and create their own protest art that can be shared on social media or as public art.

Leading this workshop are artist/activists Barb Danielewski and Jonathon Reed.

Part 2- Screenprinting towards Change

Check out the work of local screenprinting activists and speak your mind with DIY style!Participants will screenprint a t-shirt or patch with a powerful, personalized message. Get creative and express your style! This workshop pairs really well with the Protest Art workshop beforehand.
